Help

So it's coming up on a year since my last blog post, eek.
I just couldn't keep up with it while I was finishing school, and then I just didn't have a passion for it anymore.

I'm more interested in beauty blogging now, I think!

I work in cosmetics and skincare, so I'm constantly trying new products and I have A LOT of opinions!!

I'm thinking of taking this page in that direction. These products are way more accessible than the high fashion that I created this page to showcase.

Let me know if you would be interested in that kind of thing??

Neon and Lace: Sounds like an Oxymoron

Diane Kruger in Alessandra Rich. You know neon and sheer are in again and here's a perfect way to wear them and not look too tacky. She's perfectly covered up on top and just a little exposed on bottom. One thing I would appreciate more about this look was if instead of the skirt, it were pants. The length of the skirt is kind of awkward and looks unfinished.

Elie Saab Wins Again

Elizabeth Banks in an Elie Saab jumpsuit. Loooove this. The "sheer" parts match her skin perfectly! And it's not too tight around the crotchal region hahah you know what I mean because we've seen many stars try to pull off too-tight jumpsuits!!

Best & WORST Met Gala 2012

Rihanna was AMAZING in Tom Ford. Seriously, I don't even know what to say.

So let's talk about Kristen Stewart. Why do people let her out of the house???? I understand she's trying to be one of those people who "doesn't care" so she always leaves her hair sloppy, but this is the MET!!! Like really?????? It's like how Nicki Minaj was dressed sitting next to Anna Wintour: a disgrace. What are those shoes??? They look like Helena Bonham Carter not young, hot movie star! The dress would be cute on someone like Rihanna or Zoe Saldana, but it does nothing for her hips and her pale skin. Bleh.

Met Gala 2012

 Camilla Belle in Ralph Lauren

Dee Ocleppo in Tommy Hilfiger obviously

 Lala and Carmelo Anthony, unknown

Tory Burch

Ok, let me just say I was VERY disappointed in the fashion at the Met Gala this year. No one took any chances! No one wowed me!! So sad. But these looks were my favorites. Camilla Belle looked old Hollywood, as usual. I could've done without the bell sleeves on Mrs. Hilfiger's gown, but the neckline, the color, and the jewelry were on point. Lala and Carmelo looked classic but fresh, love the electric blue. And Tory Burch's coral and green are so right now.

Ermanno Scervino Spring '12 RTW. Sooo good for spring. I love this neutral green. The color palette is similar to my spring DVF post.

Yves Saint Laurent. Looooove this collar (the necklace!). I'm not too sure about the tortoiseshell, I think I would rather have a plain metallic.

i'm sprung

DVF Spring 2012 RTW. Today was a beautiful day where I live, so Spring-y! These two 'fits are so fresh!! Love the croc and lime clutch. I'm totally thrifting those pants! (already have the blazer)
This skirt is sooo perfect. I love when sequins are so small, and sorta matte, that they don't look like sequins! And the chiffon underlay keeps it from looking too heavy and serious.

Sunday studs

Ooh la la. Landry Fields, Matt Czuchry, Chris Lowell, and Kellan Lutz at the Joseph Abboud show. Aren't they adorable? I really appreciate a well-dressed man. Which do you prefer: Chris and Kellan's wide lapels or Landry and Matt's thin ones?? Chris wins for me. Kellan is looking a bit rough with that facial hair....
